Isn't it remarkable how, at times, you're filled with ecstasy, while at others, you're left feeling shattered? I believe it's all about the labyrinth of the mind within and what you permit to enter it. Yes! It's about embracing what you allow yourself to feel. You always have a choice, no matter what. So why not prioritize self-affirmation? Sometimes it's indeed about asserting self-interest.
Everything you feel may not even exist in the tangible world, and that's absolutely okay because your thoughts create your own unique reality. We cannot escape it. It is estimated that the human brain has around 60,000 thoughts a day, so we can only strive to minimize them. And the better way is to opt for optimistic perspectives, no matter how dire the situation seems. We can always exert mastery over our thoughts, and that is where our strength lies.
It's about quality over quantity. You can prioritize self-affirmation over everything that drains your energy or makes you feel inadequate. And here comes self-affection, a term we commonly use to describe love for oneself. This is one of the most overused concepts at this time, but to me, it's something that everyone should own. If you love yourself enough, you will radiate and reflect that love around you, and it also comes with establishing empowering boundaries, where you don't allow anyone, including yourself, to disrespect you.
In essence, making yourself think good about yourself is the most radiating way of living a fulfilled life.
