Life is an endless tapestry of undiscovered wonders. Finishing your studies, getting a job, getting married, and having children are all common experiences for humans. Undoubtedly, these are crucial parts of life. However, apart from these, there are infinite things to explore. We have an innate curiosity to discover both known and unknown facts and other aspects of the world. So today, let's discuss a few among the many lesser-known things about the world.
We tend to feel aggravated when others don't treat us well
or when things don't go as expected. Additionally, we feel disappointed when our
plans fail, and even more trivially, we may become upset for not being able to
attend an anticipated party. It is common and natural for human beings to have
our own self-centered world, where we react adversely to someone refusing our
offer or rejecting our proposal. However, there is so much more to life than
these experiences. There is something beyond the superficial. If we come to
realize that what we have and achieve in this life is not something we can
carry into the afterlife, we understand that it may all be taken away one day,
leaving us with nothing. While it is natural to strive for a
luxurious life, there is nothing inherently wrong with it, as long as we remain
grounded and contribute to the well-being of others. This is the essence of an
ordinary human life.
Did you know that as humans, we only use about 10% of our
brain's capacity? Just imagine how much more we could explore if we were able
to utilize 100% of our brain power. Perhaps we could even gain control over the
universe or, at the very least, our own planet. The potential of the human
brain is truly remarkable. I wanted to convey the idea that if we focused less
on trivial matters, such as getting upset over not having the perfect outfit
for a party, and instead lived with gratitude and a lack of materialistic
desires, we could find peace and harmony. Just like saints and monks who are
not concerned with basic human needs, we too can strive for a calm and serene
state of being. I am not suggesting that we should all become reclusive monks;
rather, I want to emphasize that the world holds so much more than meets the
eye. We should never feel stuck because there is an abundance of knowledge and
experiences waiting to be explored.
